Enjoy creating your unique offering in The Yurt! Your rental includes:

• Access to enjoy our outdoor space including a ridge-line view of jumping pound creek, fire pit, large deck, seasonal pond (if we get lots of precipitation) and our friendly horses coming for a visit periodically

• The Yurt is proudly entirely off grid with solar lighting, a wood stove fire for heating and a beautified porta-potty for washroom facilities. Please bring a charged phone and bluetooth speaker for music.

• We have a car limit of 10 on Friday's and 12 on the weekend, but the space can accommodate more people, so carpooling is encouraged.

• SPACING:

  • If hosting something where you want people to have ample space, we recommend 10-12 people total

  • You can fit up to 16 yoga mats

• WHAT'S PROVIDED:

  • enough bolsters, blankets, pillows, blocks and straps for 12 people
  • 9 yoga mats
  • 4 couch chairs 
  • 1 fold up table (in storage room)
  • picnic table and benches outside and 3 Adirondack chairs
  • fire wood  for outside pit
  • water jug with drinkable water. However please ask your guests to bring a full water bottle 

• Please keep furniture as is with some minor adjustment to the couches on the carpet as needed

• You are welcome to bring food or have your event catered but you are responsible for taking ALL garbage and recycling with you, sweep crumbs and ensure there is no food remaining

• We are NOT an overnight accommodation

• If you would like us to share about your event on social media, please make us a collaborator on your posts/reels @theyurt.ca. This way your post automatically gets shared to our page if we accept it. Ensure you tag us in your stories so we can also share that too!​​

CANCELLATION POLICY:

​

Event cancellations must be made through the vagaro site or email to theyurtcochrane@gmail.com. If THE RENTER cancels with more than 21 days notice prior to the event date, THE RENTER will not be subject to a cancellation fee. If THE RENTER cancels between 7 and 21 days before event date, they will be subject to a cancellation fee of half the total cost of booking fee. If THE RENTER cancels within 7 days prior to the event date, they will be charged the full booking fee amount.​​
